the Fox Cities Performing
Arts Center
The
Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, located
in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin, is a gathering
place for the community and a state-of-the-art
venue for performing arts. The Fox Cities
Performing Arts opened in November 2002
with a week-long Grand Opening celebration.
The facility is the result of a massive
community effort to invest $44.2 million
in the construction of the Center. Each
season, the M & I Bank Broadway in the
Fox Cities Series, a Performing Arts Series,
and an Education Series will be presented
at the Center, which will also serve as
the home of the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra.
The facility is located in the 400 block
of West College Avenue. The building has
approximately 122,000 gross and 87,000 net
square feet respectively. The main hall,
or Thrivent Financial Hall, seats 2,061
people; the secondary hall, or Kimberly-Clark
Theatre, approximately
