Setting
Up Content Advisor and Creating Security Limits:
- On
the Windows taskbar, click on Start > Settings > and
Control Panel.
- In
Control Panel, double-click the Internet Controls
(or Internet Options) icon to display the Internet
Properties window.
- On
the Internet Properties (or Internet Options) click
on the Content tab.
- In
the Content Advisor, click Enable to display the Content
Advisor form. (If you've already enabled Content Advisor,
click Settings, and they type the supervisor password.
The Content Advisor window will be displayed).
- Click
a category in the list, and then drag the slider to
set the limits you wish to use. Repeat this process
for each category you wish to limit, and then click
OK.
- If
a supervisor password has not already been set up
for your computer, you will be prompted to create
one.
- To
allow others to view restricted content, in the Content
Advisor window, click the General Tab, and then select
the following checkbox: Supervisor can type a password
to allow users to view restricted content.
- To
allow others to view unrated content, select the following
checkbox: Users can see sites that have no rating.
Click OK.

If a supervisor password has not been already set
up for your computer, you will be prompted to create
one.
Tip:
Not all Internet content is rated. If you choose to
allow other people to view unrated sites on your computer,
some of those sites could contain inappropriate material.
