Soups and Salads TAFFY APPLE SALAD

4 cups peeled chopped granny smith apples
1/2 cup sugar
1 - 8 oz. can crushed pineapple and juice
1 - 8 oz. cool whip
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 cup chopped salted dry roasted peanuts
Mix flour, sugar, pineapple, juice, egg, and vinegar in a small pan. Stir constantly over medium heat until thick, remove from heat and refrigerate until cooled. Once cooled add remaining ingredients and chill.

Serves: 6 to 8
